How The Warriors Might Possibly Land Chris Bosh
The Warriors are defiantly one superstar away from being a contender in the West. When they lost Baron Davis in the off-season, they lost there 4th quarter dominate threat that every good team has. All season they looked lost trying to find someone to fill those shoes. The off-season opens up doors of trade talks, free agent signings, and the NBA Draft.
Chris Bosh is the best player available for the warriors to acquire this off-season. If the trade talks continue for Bosh this off-season it could get mighty interesting. A few things that the Warriors are going to need to offer or can offer to make this deal happen. First things first they don't have a lot of salary luxury this off-season. Jamal Crawford is going to have to be included to make this deal happen. He has the highest contract and is still a pretty productive player. The intangibles that I think you can throw in there would include the following. Brandon Wright, Marco Bellinelli and the 1st round pick that we have in this years draft. Lets face it, unless your getting Rubio, Griffin, or Curry the draft class is pretty weak. Since its apparent that Bosh does not want to be in Toronto anymore, I think the Raptors would be willing to get good young talent in return for Bosh.
A lot of people are going to be saying that you are going to have to throw Anthony Randolph in the mix. The Warriors are known for letting quality talent get away for nothing (Antawn Jamison for Nick Van Exel ring a bell?). Anthony Randolph is going to be better the Bosh by the time he is 24. He was the youngest player in the league last year, and when he got solid minutes towards the end of the year, averaged 11 points and 11 rebounds with 2 blocks a game. He also developed a 17 ft jumper throughout the season. Talent like this does not come around often, and I hope they don't let this one slip through the cracks.
