They didn’t even get out of second gear, but Manchester City still managed to cruise to a 5-0 win over Fulham on Saturday.
Yaya Toure hit a hat-trick to give the hosts a 3-0 cushion, and late goals from Fernandinho and Martin Demichelis rounded out the scoring at Etihad Stadium.

Hart: His only action in the first half was claiming a Riise cross.
Zabaleta: Plenty of touches for the right-back, who has combined well with Milner and Nasri.
Lescott: Has so far completed all of his passing attempts.
Demichelis: Always a step off the pace.
Kolarov: Had Stockdale beaten when he hit the woodwork late in the opening frame.
Fernandinho: Played Silva through for an excellent chance midway through the first half.

Demichelis: Capped off a solid performance with City’s fifth goal.
Kolarov: Contributed three tackles on the defensive side of the ball.
Fernandinho: Rounded Kvist before unleashing a powerful drive that beat Stockdale for City’s fourth.
