Why pick Weber State to cover the spread

After getting snubbed by the NCAA last year, the Wildcats are back for the first time since 2007. Despite a 3-4 finish, Weber State won the Big Sky regular-season title, then took the conference tournament.

Weber State started just 2-5 this season, but two of those losses came against BYU and UCLA. A 12-2 run then put them in good shape in their conference race.

No. 16 Weber State starts three seniors, led by guard Davion Berry (19 points per game) and center Kyle Tresnak. Berry can shoot, hitting at 48 percent from the floor this season, including 39 percent from three-point range.
