ACC SEC Challenge 2008 Edition
It's time for the comparison that ESPN has been afraid to break down. Recently the World Wide Leader in Sports has had Bloggers from their respective conference "debate" who would win in Conference Challenges. These "debates" are nothing more than what Mr. T would describe as "Jibber Jabber" Let's take a look at the SEC v. ACC from 2008 and set up some games. With 12 teams each, both conferences will have all members participating. Formula for Picking the Winners Combined W/L for Top 25 Teams (4 Points Each Win, -4 Points each Loss) BCS / Independent Out of Conference Wins (2 Points/Win) Non-BCS/Independent Loss (-1 Points) FCS (1-AA) Opponents Scheduled (-2 Points per team scheduled) (ACC/SEC Wins) (2 Points for Other Conference win, -2 Points for Other Conference Loss) I will match up each team based on their final CBS 120 Rankings. Winners will be picked by the above formula, its mathematically equal, so no bias can be included in the breakdown. Lets Get Playing.
