Yevhen Konoplyanka

1 of 4

Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk president Igor Kolomoisky prefers selling Yevhen Konoplyanka to Tottenham Hotspur than Liverpool, per Hannah Duncan at the Metro.

Konoplyanka has been dynamic in the UEFA Europa League completing 32 dribbles in seven games.

He has scored four goals and created another two.

He left a positive impression during his two Europa League games against Spurs: Scored a penalty in a 1-0 win and hit the post in a 3-1 defeat.

Loic Remy

2 of 4

Tottenham Hotspur are in the running to sign Loic Remy from Queens Park Rangers, per Matthew Nash of Metro.

Remy has scored 13 Premier League goals on loan at Newcastle United this season, but whether or not he will extend his loan to a permanent transfer remains uncertain, per Mark Douglas of The Journal

If Remy signs with Spurs, it could have a crippling effect on the confidence of £26 million summer signing Roberto Soldado, who has only scored six goals in 24 Premier League games.

Spurs need to back Soldado, and targeting Remy will further hinder the Spaniard's aims to avoid becoming another Sergei Rebrov.

While Remy has become an elite forward, if Spurs wanted to replace Soldado, it would be more ideal to target a younger player.

One suggestion would be Lyon's 22-year-old Alexandre Lacazette, who has scored the same amount of league goals as Remy (13) but is five years younger.

Tim Sherwood

3 of 4

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has pleaded for patience as speculation mounts over his long-term future at the club.

"Liverpool took a step back to move forwards," Sherwood said, per BBC Sport. "Whether they [Spurs management] want me to be the person to do it remains to be seen."

Under Sherwood, Spurs have been beaten in many important games, including 2-0 and 1-0 defeats to Arsenal, a 5-1 defeat to Manchester City, a 4-0 defeat to Chelsea and a 3-1 defeat to Benfica.

Tim Krul

4 of 4

If Tottenham Hotspur sell Hugo Lloris in the summer transfer window, Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul will be targeted as his successor, per The Sun

Last November, Krul made 14 saves in Newcastle's 1-0 win over Spurs. In the corresponding fixture, a 4-0 defeat to Spurs, he looked less secure.

He was caught in no man's land in a 4-1 win over Hull City, which led to Curtis Davies' goal for Hull. Krul also cost Newcastle in a 1-0 defeat to Fulham by not saving Ashkan Dejagah's shot.
