No. 4 Michigan State vs. No. 13 Delaware: March Madness Preview

The quest for the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship has officially arrived!

In a second-round matchup, the No. 4 seed Michigan State Spartans will be taking the court against the No. 13 seed Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens.

Despite not needing it, Michigan State took an automatic bid with a win over Michigan in the Big Ten Finals. For the season, the Spartans were 26-8, led mostly by senior Adreian Payne and his 15.8 points per game.

Delaware, another automatic bid winner, defeated William & Mary in the CAA finals. The Hens went 25-9 overall, with seniors Devon Saddler (19.7 PPG) and Davon Usher (19.4 PPG) as their leading scorers on the season.
