Bruce Springsteen Headlines Free March Madness Music Festival in Dallas

College hoops and free Springsteen: Is there anything better in this world?

Music lovers and college basketball fans will be hard pressed to find a better deal than the March Madness Music Festival—a free, three-day event in Dallas’ Reunion Park scheduled for the final days of the NCAA tournament.

Headlined by Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band, the March Madness Music Festival will feature a menagerie of artists catering to different musical tastes.

The festival kicks off April 4 with country musician Jason Aldean, followed by Tim McGraw and The Killers on April 5.

Last, but certainly not least, Springsteen and company will take the stage on April 6—the Sunday night before the national championship game. Pop rock band Fun will open for Springsteen.

Sounds like a decent lineup, especially considering admission is free. Indeed, tickets will be doled out each day on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to the Associated Press (h/t FoxNews.com).

Reunion Park will likely be packed boots to elbows by the time the Boss grabs the mic on Sunday night, so if you’re a resident living in the Dallas area, be sure to show up early.

Also, if you plan to go to the concert and attend the national championship game at AT&T Stadium on Monday night, try to keep everything in moderation.

I know this will be difficult with all the free Springsteen going down, just don’t be too hungover to enjoy the main event.
