Teams Most Likely To Go After Vick
With the release of Micheal Vick by the Atlanta Falcons, teams are going to have to look long and hard at their team to see if they could use this former Pro-Bowl Quarterback. Since he was released and team are free to sign him, this makes it easier for team to take on this project without cause too much friction on their team. Lets face it, the man has served his time and some fans will hate him, but if he is playing on sundays and scoring touchdowns, other fans will forgive and forget. Afters scanning through all of the teams in the NFL, there only seems to be 13 possible destinations that that Vick could go. I will go over each division and explain why the NFC West seems like the most likely destination.
Lets start with the

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
AFC North
· Baltimore- Has no need for him, they have a starter in Flacco and a decent backup in Troy Smith. This is not an option
· Cincinnati- They have Carson Palmer and they already have one distraction in Ochocinco, so adding Vick might cause too much controversy.
· Cleveland - This would be a good spot for him, even though they have invested so much money in Brady and Anderson. They are coming out of OTA's without a clear started and neither one of them look that great. Adding a Vick might make both of them realize that they need to step their game up.
· Pittsburgh - They are a class organization with a class QB and a backup, this is not an option for them
AFC South
· Houston- This seems to be a spot for vick. The lost their backup to the vikings and Schaub seems to be a little bit fragile. Adding Vick would be one heck of an insurance policy.
· Jacksonville- Garrad is the starter, but he proved to be a little shaky at times last year, Vick is more mobile and out push Garrad to the next level and move him out of the way and take him place.
· Indianapolis- Peyton Manning - Nuff Said
· Tennessee - They already have Vince Young as a backup, not need to add his twin.
AFC East
· Miami- Seeing that they run the wildcat, this could be a great place but they already have three QB's and Pat White is a young version of vick anyway. Don't look for them to get him.
· New York Jets - They just put all that money into Sanchez, they do not want to add anything else. They want to see what they have in him.
· Patriots- Surprisingly, this is a good fit. The lost their backup to KC and their could use him in some of their wildcat formations. I think this is a good fit. Plus, the patriots are masters at reforming players that are thought to be past their prime (Ex. Moss, Dillon, Seau, and Fred Taylor)
· Buffalo- They have a QB and at the same time they do not. Adding Vick would add more of a dynamic look to their offense. This might make T.O happy is he knew the Vick likes to lock in on his target and repeatedly force the ball to them.
AFC West
· Kansas City – They have just signed Cassell and they are not looking to add anyone else. Look for them to not join in
· Oakland - They have Russell and Garcia, no need for Vick
· San Diego - They have Rivers and they can always use LT to throw and have Sproles run the wildcat, no need for vick
· Denver - Kyle Orton has been named the started, they might want to take a look into Vick. Both of the QB’s that they have are not proven in any way at all. Vick would be an upgrade. By week 5 they will probably wish they had him.
NFC North
· Detroit - It is sad to say that a team that did not win a game could not use a pro bowl QB, but they have too much invested into Stafford and Culpepper. Look for them to stay out.
· Green Bay – Aaron Rodgers is the Starter and they have other people to back-up. I do not think this is a good Destination.
· Chicago – With the acquisition of Cutler, they look to be set, but they do not have a backup at all and this could be a nice place to go. They will be interested.
· Vikings - If this Brett Farve thing does not work out, they will have to, because they have basically said to the world that they do not have any confidence in who they have, since they are trying to recruit Grandpa Farve from the couch.
NFC South
· Tampa Bay – They look to be set with their array of QB’s and the new one that they signed this year. They might take a look but how much money can a team put into one position. I do not see them making a move
· Carolina - This is where I can see him going and running a very efficient version of the wildcat with Steve Smith and DeAngelo Williams. Lets face it, Delhomme can be sporadic and he is a good addition to this team. Plus this is the panthers and everyone knows that cats do not like dogs either…lol. That was a low blow.
· Atlanta - No Way
· New Orleans - Brees is cemented as the starter, but Vick could be sweet as a back up and wildcat person running with Bush. They might take a look at this, but it would not be to supplant Brees, but to be an addition to the offensive game plan. They might want him if Brees approves.
NFC East
· Washington - During the draft, they came out and said that they are not satisfied with Campbell and they let it be know that they wanted Sanchez. Since that is the case, expect Snyder to at least look into Vick
· Dallas - They are threw with any more of the circus sideshow players. Romo is the QB and they are happy.
· NY Giants - NO need for that distraction. Plaxico is already a big enough one.
· Philadelphia - Last year when they tried to bench McNabb, they found out that Kolb is Krap, so adding Vick might be a good insurance plan, since McNabb is always hurt. I think they might be a player in the Vick Sweepstakes.
NFC West
Lets be honest, this is the most likely place for him to go because he would instantly make all four teams better.
· Arizona- They do no have anyone to take over after Warner leaves and he is one concussion away from retirement. Plus Lienart has proven he is not as good without Bush
· 49er’s– Are you telling me Vick could not go their and compete for a starting job right now. You must be crazy. Singletary is a hard ass with a strict set of rules and that could help out vick. I think this is the best place for him
· Seattle - Hasselback is not getting any younger and Seneca and Vick could compete for the position.
· St. Louis - Bulger proved that he still has it, but his backups are horrible, it is time to give the greatest show on turf a true ring master. Put Vick on the field every play and let him go to work.
