Tenerife & Zaragoza secure promotion to La Liga

Girona 0 - Tenerife 1 (Segunda Division, June 13, 2009) Tenerife secured promotion to La Liga, Daniel Ngom Kome grabbed the winner five minutes before the break.

Real Zaragoza 3 - Cordoba 1 (Segunda Division, June 13, 2009) Ewerthon, Leonardo Ponzio and Javier Arizmendi had sealed the win by the 48th minute, Guzman pulled one back with six minutes to go, Zaragoza return to La Liga in third place and cannot now be caught by Hercules.

CFR Cluj 3 - Timisoara 0 (Romanian National Cup, June 13, 2009) Ciprian Deac scored the first goal on six minutes, Sixto Peralta doubled the lead from the penalty spot on 28 and Emmanuel Juan Culio sealed the win nine minutes into the second period.
