Women's Boxing Champion Ann Wolfe: 'I'd F*** Ronda Rousey Up'

Hunter HomistekMar 10, 2014

Ann Wolfe is a scary specimen inside the ring.

The retired boxing champion boasts a 24-1 record with 16 knockouts, and, if her latest sentiments are any indication, she's looking to add one more highlight-reel KO to her resume.

Her target?

UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey

In a video surfaced by BloodyElbow.com's Brent Brookhouse, Wolfe commented on her chances in a fight against Rousey, saying:

"I'd f*** Ronda Rousey up."

That's pretty straightforward, eh?

The fans followed up on Wolfe's proclamation by asking if said whooping would take place in MMA or boxing, and Wolfe responded with another zinger.

"I don't give a f***; we can meet in the streets," Wolfe said. "I don't disrespect her or nothing, but...I'd tear that a** up."

Taking a look at some of Wolfe's past performances, there's absolutely no doubt that she could flatten Rousey with a solid punch. She once held a world title in four weight classes simultaneously, so her accolades speak for themselves.

Could she land a bomb, though?

It's impossible to say unless the fight happened, and such musings only reinforce the silly boxing vs. MMA debate that we've seen play out before (see: Toney, James).

Still, taking in Wolfe's matter-of-fact, stone-cold delivery, one can't help but feel a slight tremble of fear as she confidently expresses her chances against Rousey.

This woman loves to fight, and she would undoubtedly cherish the opportunity to throw down with one of MMA's hottest stars at the moment.

With talks of Rousey vs. Gina Carano, Rousey vs. Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos and Rousey vs. Holly Holm already circulating, Wolfe seems to have as good of a shot as anybody at the UFC standout.
