What I Know About Derek Anderson
Two years ago, the Browns went 10-6 with Derek Anderson at the helm. Positivity was spreading through Cleveland like a wildfire. The coaches were praised and the front office had received positive criticism. Then, came the 4-12 season that followed. Derek Anderson was benched, and Brady Quinn started for 3 games and then was out for the season. Anderson would replace and would get hurt in a loss against the Colts. Now, we are back to square one again with a new quarterback controversy brewing up in Cleveland again.
Okay, here's what I KNOW about Derek Anderson. In his pro-bowl year with the Browns back in 07, he threw for 3,487 yds, and 29 touchdowns. He was excellent that year, and everyone was still nitpicking him. People like to point out he stunk up the joint in the Bengals game that would of put the Browns in the playoffs. You can't always blame the QB. The wind in the game was about 40-50 mph. I think you can blame the offensive coordinator in that game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
You remember that Ravens' game in 07, where Phil Dawson tied it up with crazy field goal. Well, the play before that, Anderson had made a very crucial play. The pocket was crumbling around him, and Winslow caught the ball with 4 seconds left on the clock.
What I can't believe is that people are still calling for Quinn to start. Quinn has only played 3 games. Only played 3 games and still people are calling for him to start. I just don't understand it. Although Anderson had a down year last year, it isn't all his fault. You win as a TEAM. You don't win all by yourself. I believe if he starts, he will do much better than last year.
