Allsports News: It boils down to one game for Lord Stanley's Mug
Well the sports news story on the web today is that there is going to be a one game, winner take all for Lord Stanley’s mug. One game for all the marbles or any other clique you may think of. This came about because the Pittsburgh Penguins held off elimination for another day with a 2-1 victory at the Mellon Arena last night in Pittsburgh.
It was the regular guys that did the job last night as there was no Crosby or Malkin to be seen on the score sheet. Jordan Staal opened the scoring about five minutes into the second period and Tyler Kennedy scored what proved to be the winner half way through the third.

The Pens did a good job of bottling up the Red Wings for two periods, holding them to twelve shots. Marc-Andre Fleury came through in the third when he stopped 12 of the 13 shots he faced in the frame. The only one to allude him was the rebound goal by Chis Draper.
So now it is back to Joe Louis arena for what should be a very entertaining game seven. As far as the Pens are concerned, if you have to win a game in the enemy barn, it may as well be the last one. Pittsburgh will have their work cut out for them though. The Red Wings are very familiar with the angles and bounces that Joe Louis arena provides and have gone 11-1 there this playoff year.
It will be a tall order for the Pens to beat the Wings in two straight games and even taller to beat them at home. But in one game anything can happen. Who manages to get the lucky bounce may end up sipping the champagne from the cup.
