
Dennis Bergkamp Statue Turns Up Outside Emirates as Arsenal Honour Dutch Star
Dennis Bergkamp will join Thierry Henry outside the Emirates in statue form—and the first sighting of the Dutch star's new likeness came on Thursday on Twitter:

Eliot Rothwell of Mirror Football confirmed earlier this month that the statue would be unveiled on February 22. An image of the statue where it was being constructed did circulate earlier in the month, but the above is the first time the public have been able to catch a glimpse of it, no matter how slight:

Bergkamp spent 11 years at the Emirates and was part of the team that won league and cup doubles in 1998 and 2002.
He'll be in attendance for Saturday's game against Sunderland, and he'll attend the unveiling ceremony.
