Fancy yourself as a bit of a football expert?

Every week, we choose 5 football games from the Scottish Premier and Scottish Football leagues - we would also select European games that Scottish clubs are taking part in, as well as Scottish International matches. Your job is to correctly predict each result to win league points and fight your way up to the League table. And at the end of the season, the top three in the league will in prizes including - Football shirts, DVDs, Books, Computer Games and subscription to The 12th Man fanzine.

Test your skills and knowledge of the Scottish game, predict the scores of football matches, collect points and win. Our game is absolutely free, you don’t need to pay for playing in our game. You just need to register your details [inc. your forum username] via [e-mail] and register with our forum to be able to view the fixtures, results and league table.

The Prediction League will kick off at the start of the new season - dates yet to be confirmed.

Prizes

At the end of the season, the top three in the league will be awarded prizes depending on where they are placed. The Rules

1. Each week we will publish 5 fixtures for you to predict, and if you take part then all 5 must be predicted, if you miss any out then your prediction for that week is forfeit.
2. Predictions MUST be lodged 15 minutes before the first game to take place. If the first game kicks off at 12.30pm then the last predictions for all 5 games must be in at 12.15pm no later, or at 2.45pm if kick off is at 3pm. Any predictions received within that 15 minutes threshold or thereafter will be null and void.
3. At the end of each week, the league table will be published showing each player’s standings and score, as well as how many he or she scored that week.
4. You can miss out week’s of predicting, but remember that you have more chance of winning if you take part from the very beginning to the end without missing any weeks out.
5. Predictions are only for 90 minutes of the game. If a game goes to Extra Time or Penalties, those results will not be counted, it will be the result during the 90 minutes that is taken into account.
6. All decisions by the League admin are final.
7. The top three at the end of the season will be contacted by admin staff in order to recieve their prizes - at this time then and only then will personal details such as Full name and address will be taken. If you are contacted by someone posing as a member of staff before the end of the season asking for such details please contact us immediately [e-mail] and we will investigate.
8. To participate you must register in our forum, and all prediction fixtures will be posted in a dedicated thread each week by the admin staff. User predictions must be placed within the specific week’s fixtures.
