Washington Post writer Michael Lee seems to think that the recent slate of Wizards workout participants—Louisville forward Terrence Williams and Virginia guard and Metro native Mamadi Diane—indicates that the Wiz are thinking a trade down in the 2009 NBA Draft.

Could be good, could be bad. There are very few bad teams that are willing to take the pick in such a talent-thin draft, that are without a worthwhile pick. Could the Wizards be packaging a beloved veteran, and looking to downshift in age at a certain position?

These workouts seem to indicate that it would be Caron Butler. Only time will tell.
