2009 SpartyMSU Summer Conference

Summer SpartyMSU Conference held June 6 – 7, at the Marriott and Peanut Barrel restaurant in East Lansing.  The Peanut Barrel (http://www.peanutbarrel.com/ ) was gracious to allow us to spend 6 hours discussing and typing, soaking up pitcher after pitch of cold of brew  (and a few Shots of Crown).. 

We couldn’t have picked a better spot in East Lansing that has food any more delightful, delicious and delectable Plus a friendly, warm and enjoyable ambiance that makes this a must visit when in East Lansing… Yeah.. we’re coming back…  Thanks Joe !

Besides, we had a huge table and a power outlet nearby… Of course we hit other Hot spots, ElAzteco, a LugNuts Game (Lost the White Caps), and the Nut House to watch the Red Wings kick Pittsburgh’s ass: 5 – 0…


Headed over to Lou and Harry's for drinks where we bumped into the owner who also has roots on the East Coast and went to UofD (University of Delaware)…. 

But most importantly for the day, we completed the reason for the assemblage, the 2009 SpartyMSU Football Season Preview / Forecast / Look-see  / Projections…



Gav, Dave, Andy and myself made it for the meeting, others either had to wash their cat, sprinkle the garden or missed the event for some other lame excuse.. Suffice it to say, the SpartyMSU 2009 Spartan Football Season is previewed, Forecasted, and in the can.

Season Preview will be posted in 4 stages:
1) The Pick Matrix: (Note: in the last 49 Spartan Games, SpartyMSU has only missed 8 picks..)
2) Review of the Spartans
3) A Summary of all the games.
4) A detailed review of the games week by week and the Spartans will face....

Sample Prediction Matrix..Not filed in yet..... yet.. gotta wait till Wednesday...

Now before you call us Homers.. Drinking form the Green Kool-Aid fire hose.. you have to clearly understand the academic  debate and cogitating that went in to this, it was not taken lightly, but after review and consensus agreements based upon the preponderance of evidence..  This is what it do be..

Wednesday we’ll put up the Matrix… AND It is Forecast to be another Good year for the Spartans…
