No matter how confident you are in your favorite team, wait until after the season to celebrate—especially if a tattoo is involved.

One Denver Broncos fan decided that his team had nothing to worry about in Super Bowl XLVIII and started celebrating early by getting a tattoo:

There is video, via jazminenoble on Instagram, of the fan getting tattooed:

After the Seattle Seahawks came away with a dominant 43-8 victory over the Broncos, this fan can't be feeling too happy about his decision to get inked.

This meme, via imgur, sums it up best:

It doesn't matter that one fan ended up being right. Getting a tattoo to proclaim a team champion before the Super Bowl is a risky move and will come back to bite you more times than not.

Denver fans who got cocky and inked up before Super Bowl XLVIII learned a valuable lesson.
