David Beckham will head to Peckham to meet Derek and Rodney Trotter as part of an Only Fools and Horses television special for Sport Relief in March, the BBC has revealed.

The retired star of Manchester United, Real Madrid, England and others, will be with the duo in a greasy spoon cafe as part of a sketch.

The popular comedy show starring David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst first aired in Britain on the BBC in 1981, and has returned over the years—although the last episode was a Christmas special in 2003.

It tells the story of two brothers, market traders from London, who concoct get-rich-quick schemes in the hope of becoming millionaires.

Beckham is also from that same part of London, having been born in Leytonstone, east London (per his profile on IMDB).

He's also no stranger to appearing on sketches for charity—amongst the more memorable TV moments featuring the footballer is his 2012 appearance with James Corden for the same good cause:

While this NSFW exchange with Ali G (played by Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen) in 2006 was part of Comic Relief:

Time will tell whether this latest appearance goes down in infamy as well.
