Samir Nasri's Bizarre Facial Expression, Leather Tabard Gets Twitter Talking

Mark PattersonJan 13, 2014

Poor Samir Nasri.

He was the victim of a horror challenge from Newcastle's Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa at the weekend in Manchester City 2-0 win on the road (watch it here). He now looks set to miss the rest of the season and the 2014 World Cup beyond that.

Set to find out the severity of his injury on Monday morning, the Frenchman was pictured outside Manchester City's training ground pulling an unfortunate face, which quickly spread around Twitter:

By wearing whatever that thing is on the top half of his body (all we can safely say is that it's leather), he's not exactly helping himself.

Still, for all that, let's hope Nasri gets some encouraging news when the scan results come back.
