Andy Roddick Reveals Drew Brees Beat Him in Tennis as a Kid

Tyler BrookeJan 11, 2014

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is arguably one of the best football players in the NFL, and apparently he wasn't too shabby at tennis as a kid.

According to Andy Roddick, Brees beat him in tennis not once, but twice when they were young. Apparently, once Roddick was finally able to take Brees down, the future All-Pro gave up tennis.

I guess we have Roddick to thank for Brees choosing football over tennis, and I think we can safely say the Super Bowl-winning QB chose the right sport.
