Hot Prospects
Shawn Fitzsimonds, LB, South
At 5'10" and 200 pound, Shawn Fitzsimonds is a physical—if slightly diminutive—linebacker who plays bigger than his size.
Blue-Grey Football recently highlighted him as a player to watch in this upcoming contest:
He'll have his work cut out for him when he's chasing down the speedy backs on the North squad. However, given his recent work at Cox Mill High School in Charlotte, N.C., it's clear he's up to the task.
Here's a look at Fitzsimonds' senior stats, as provided by BeRecruited.com: 96 total tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles, four passes defended and one touchdown.
Jojo McIntosh, DB, North
Jojo McIntosh is a huge defensive back who brings the thunder to every tackle he makes. At 6'1" and 180 pounds, he's also fast enough to cover the back end with skill.
A University of Washington commit, as he proudly displays on his Twitter account, McIntosh was stellar in his senior season at Chaminade College Prep, earning All-Area First-Team honors, as relayed by Chaminade Eagle Eye:
Via MaxPreps.com, he racked up an eye-popping 81 solo tackles (124 total), 3.5 sacks and three interceptions, adding a blocked punt to his loaded resume. His athleticism and size will stand out on the field on Saturday, Jan. 11.
