Gallons of Bitter Spill as Gareth Barry Has Medical for Manchester City

It is widely reported that Gareth Barry is having a medical with Manchester City but what baffles me is:

The amount of bitterness that's beginning to be thrown at City and Gareth Barry?.

Don't take me for being ignorant or blind because I was well aware we City fans were due some bitter flak after becoming the richest club in the world though that is were it stops as we do not deserve this bitterness or hatred.

See the difference is and lets take Man United as a prime example.

Over the years bitterness and hatred towards United fans has evolved due to the way United fans have treated opposing fans globally along with the fact some are jealous and envious of their triumph.

Where as with City, I think its just blind jealousy and bitterness that we are moving forward while others are standing still or falling because I know full well City fans are not mocking, belittling or abusing any opposing fans so that cannot be pinned on us unlike with United's fans.

Moving on, Gareth Barry has become the target for some real bitterness and hatred on Aston villa boards. Liverpool fans are also getting in on the action which is not a surprise considering on every neutral board I've crossed I have seen Liverpool fans belittling Manchester City and abusing City fans.

Some believe he is now all about money and lacks loyalty.

Some are saying he lacks ambition because Manchester City are currently not in the Champions League.

Some are jealous because he is not joining their club.

Some are just upset because they don't want to see great players joining City.

Some can not stand the fact City are going to challenge for the title so soon.

I believe some are scared stiff because they know that if Barry joins City then more stars will follow.

I believe Gareth Barry sees the potential in city and I believe Gareth Barry wants to be a part of the City revolution and fight for the Champions League and not be given it on a golden plate, he wants to earn his medals and not be given them for sitting on a bench for half a season as Manchester City will build around Gareth Barry and Stephen Ireland, what will be the best midfield duo in the Premier League, mark my words.

I predict Carlos Tevez joining City if United do not stop being tight puppets, I hope they can not afford Tevez too because if Tevez joined City then that would really give the top four the shakes.

I say take it all in City fans and smile the smile, let them whine and shout and cry, who cares? for we know we deserve every bit if fortune and happiness we are in for.
