In The Six: News From The Boston Breakers
The Boston Breakers saw their three-match unbeaten streak come to an end after a 2-1 loss at Sky Blue FC in Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) action on Sunday evening at Yurcak Field in Piscataway, N.J.
The Breakers (3-3-2, 11 points) dropped to third place in the standings, one point behind the surging Washington Freedom who defeated FC Gold Pride, 3-1, earlier in the day. Sky Blue FC (2-4-2, 8 points) moves into a three-way tie for fifth place.
Kacey White scored the winner in the 29th minute after Kelly Smith had scored her league-leading fifth goal of the season for the Breakers.

Breakers/Renegades Doubleheader at Harvard on June 14 The first of three scheduled doubleheaders featuring the Boston Breakers and their USL W-League affiliate, the Boston Renegades, is set for Sunday, June 14 at Harvard Stadium. The Renegades play the Long Island Rough Riders at 2:30 p.m. in W-League action, followed by the Breakers hosting Saint Louis Athletica at 6 p.m. in the WPS main event. A single ticket provides admission to both games, and fans WILL be allowed to leave Harvard Stadium between matches for tailgating and activities in the Breakerstown fan fest area, and then allowed to re-enter the stadium for the Breakers game. The Renegades (2-1-1), who are currently tied with the Rough Riders (2-2-1) for second place in the W-League’s Northeast Division, will also play the Hudson Valley Lady Blues on June 17 at 4 p.m., prior to the Breakers match versus FC Gold Pride at 7 p.m. The third and final doubleheader takes place on July 15 when the Renegades take on the Connecticut Passion at 4 p.m., prior to the Breakers' 7 p.m. match versus the Chicago Red Stars.

Boston Breakers Day Camps offer a professional training program using innovative techniques to motivate students to perform above their expectations.
