Derek Anderson: Backing Up the Underdawg
Hey guys, I guess you remember about a week ago I did an article about our current quarterback situation in Cleveland. Well, this week, I am picking a quarterback to win the current competition and it's...not Brady Quinn, but Derek Anderson!
In his Pro Bowl season with the Browns in 2007, He threw 29 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. He wowed every one with precise accuracy and throwing ability. Then, in 2008, he disappeared. He threw nine touchdowns and eight interceptions before going down with an MCL injury later in the year. The Browns would go on to finish the season 4-12.
Many Quinn fans like to point out that Anderson's performance in the Bengals game had cost the Browns a shot in the playoff. That is true, however, the wind was a huge factor in the game, as the wind would cause the ball to move. Anderson would throw four interceptions in that game.

But I have a question for the rest of the Browns fans. Do you remember the game when the Browns played the Ravens at home in 2007 and won 33-31? If so, Anderson in that game had converted a very important fourth down that led to a very controversial field goal that caused the Browns to win in overtime.
My favorite memory of Derek Anderson was the Giants game. He was accurate, precise, and on time. He would throw two touchdowns and no interceptions for 310 yards.
I know a lot of fans will hate me for this article. But believe me, I have my reasons for choosing Anderson over Quinn and besides, I will take Anderson over Quinn any day.
