NFL Injury Report Week 16: Team-by-Team Updates, Inactive List and More

Week 16's slate of games is the penultimate weekend of the 2013 NFL regular season. While many football fans have shifted their focus to the playoffs, successful fantasy owners are likely in the championship game right now.

With many of the league’s top stars coming into this week banged up, owners must start formulating backup plans for the potential inactives.

Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Status: Active

After missing practice Wednesday and Thursday, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson (foot) returned in a limited capacity Friday and will play Sunday, according to the team's official inactive list.

Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Status: Active

After practicing in a limited capacity all week, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is active for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.

Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Status: Active

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald suffered a concussion on an onside kick attempt in Week 15 and was listed as questionable for this week's matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. Despite practicing in a limited capacity this week, Fitzgerald will be active for Sunday's game.

Tony Gonzalez, TE, Atlanta Falcons

Status: Active

The Atlanta Falcons play the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night, and star tight end Tony Gonzalez has been listed as questionable for the game with a toe injury, according to Vaughn McClure of ESPN. He is expected to play.

Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Status: Active

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew was limited in practice all week with a hamstring injury, but will play Sunday after he was not listed on the team's inactive list. ESPN's fantasy football guru Matthew Berry shared his thoughts on the team's running back situation in this pivotal week in fantasy:
