The Winner of the Playoff at Colonial is... Steve Stricker

A playoff at Colonial netted one player out of three a plaid jacket and a PGA Tour victory. 

Steve Stricker won at Colonial for the second time in three years with a beautiful iron shot on the second playoff hole.

Next stop on the PGA tour will be the Memorial at Jack's place, in Dublin , Ohio at Muirfield Village.

Kenny Perry is your defending champion there, and has been playing well. This tournament should present a very good field as players sharpen their game for the upcoming US Open in two weeks.

Tim Clarke grabbed a second place this week and got me a few fantasy points, and I continue to move up the Yahoo fantasy golf standings.

I've made it to 2902 points and I reside in place  number 20,843 for the full season.

I am Still ahead of one Yahoo expert and closing in on another.

On to the Memorial. This week my players will be Tiger Woods, Sean O' Hair, Nick Watney and James Nitties.

On the bench in case of mishap, will be Paul Casey, Charley Hoffman, Zach Johnson, and Rocco Mediate.

The large question everyone is asking  is when Tiger will return to dominating the PGA.

He has one win this season, and play has been far from spectacular since his knee surgery and recovery.

Two players, Phil Mickelson and Geoff Ogilvy have two wins this season, and no one has established total dominance to be considered for player of the year honors.

These next three majors coming up will probably leave a clear front-runner in that category.

Good players will tune up their game this week at Muirfield and Jack's tournament has it's own prestige points as everyone wants to play well with Mr. Nicklaus in attendance.

Ralph finished pacing off a putt of some 30 feet and stepped up to the ball. " Caddy, is this green watered once or twice a day?"

"Twice sir".

"And is the green cut from the right or the left"?

"Left, sir".

"And was it cut this morning?"

"Yes, sir."

With that, Ralph finally putted,missing the hole by ten feet.

"Dammit, caddy. What time was it cut?"
