The facilities were amazing, the campus is beautiful, it literally looked like a castle, and the dorms where the players stay are really nice. The place where the players stay was nicer than anything I’d seen before. They also have beautiful women. It is just a real nice place to be. Everything was impressive to be honest.

"

Those facets added up to help Are reach a decision on his college destination. He is expected to arrive on campus next semester as an early enrollee.

Are elected to sign with Florida State after heavily considering offers from Ole Miss, South Carolina and Penn State. He visited each of those programs in the past month.

Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher, whose name is being floated around as a possible candidate at Texas, has assembled an impressive 2014 recruiting class. He continues to stockpile talent as Florida State awaits to face Auburn in the national championship game.

Are is the 26th member of the group and the first to sign his national letter of intent. He joins fellow 4-star JUCO product Chad Mavety (Nassau Community College) as a newcomer who should challenge for a spot on the two-deep along the line next season.

Interior offensive linemen Alec Eberle (Mechanicsville, Va.) and Corey Martinez (Tampa, Fla.) previously pledged to the program. Florida State's latest recruiting haul is currently rated seventh nationally in 247Sports' composite rankings.
