Liverpool's Jon Flanagan Celebrated 1st Goal with Domino's Pizza
Liverpool's Jon Flanagan scored his first goal for the club Sunday, sprinting forward from left-back to crash home a half-volley in the Reds' emphatic 5-0 win against Tottenham.
What it meant to the 20-year-old was plain to see. A local lad raised through the club's youth system, Flanagan had surely dreamed the moment many times over.
The reaction of his Liverpool team-mates was also telling. They rushed to congratulate Flanagan and shared in his elation. Cameras then panned to the stands, where the legendary Kenny Dalglish was seen beaming in delight.

In an interview with James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo, Flanagan was asked what he did that night to celebrate further. There was no champagne; no hotfooting it to a swanky nightspot to be surrounded by beautiful women.
"I got back home from London just in time for Match of the Day 2 and I had a Domino’s," he said. "It was nice to watch the goal again. I recorded it too."
Talented and grounded, too. Flanagan clearly has a bright future.
