With a new coach, a new regime is also bound to come into existence. Here's a look at the new faces leading the players to (hopefully) brighter days.

As head coach, Steve Spagnuolo takes over after a 2-14 2008 campaign. One of his first tastes of coaching at a high level was at the University of Massachusetts, where he coached the football team. Between 1983-1999, he worked in the college game and NFL Europe, going from an intern and a scout to defensive line, special teams, defensive backs, linebacker coach, and defensive coordinator. After that, he worked on organizing defensive assistants, linebackers, defensive backs, to coach for the Eagles. The Giants made him the defensive coordinator in 2007, when he helped transform the unit into one gaining attention with its blitz packages and aggression. This approach led to sacking Tom Brady five times in the Super Bowl.

The man responsible for offensive game plan is Pat Shurmur, Offensive Coordinator. He worked with the Eagles as a quarterbacks coach from 2002. Before that, he was a tight end coach with the Eagles. He also has been a tight ends, specials teams and offensive line coach with Michigan State and Stanford universities, respectively.

Richard Curl, Assistant Head Coach/Quarterbacks Coach, was in NFL Europe as an offensive coordinator. While in Kansas City, he was a pro personnel assistant, as well as assistant head coach. In New York, he held the same position, except that he was also a running back coach with the Jets.

Defensive Coordinator Ken Flajole coached at places like Pacific Lutheran, Montana, UTEP, Richmond, Missouri, and Hawaii before getting a position with the Green Bay Packers as a defensive assistant in 1998. In Seattle, Flajole was a defensive back and linebacker coach, until going to the Panthers for six years, where he coached the linebackers.

Other coaches are: Tom McMahon (Special Teams Coordinator), Charlie Baggett (Wide Receivers), Sylvester Croom ( Running backs), Andre Curtis (Defensive backs/Safeties), Brendan Daly (Defensive Line), Chuck Facette (Assistant Strength and Conditioning), Paul Ferraro (Linebackers), Rock Gullickson (Strength and Conditioning), Matt House (Quality Control/Defense), Frank Leonard ( Tight Ends), Clayton Lopez (Defensive backs/ Corner backs), Steve Loney (Offensive Line), Andy Sugarman (Quality Control/Offense), Derius Swinton (Quality Control/Special Teams), Art Valero (Assistant Offensive Line), and Bruce Warwick (Assistant Head Coach/Football Operations).
