Why I Would Hate Crosby, Even If He Played For My Team
Cry-Baby. Diver. Goal-Scorer. The most hated player in the League.
Some say "if Crosby was on your team, you would love him."

While he has been dominant in the 2009 Playoffs, and there is no denying that he is a great player, he does not get my respect on the count of his attitude and style of play.

I have been playing hockey for about eight years. Every fellow hockey player I know dislikes Crosby, mostly due to the fact his style of play is disgusting, and not in the good way.
Hockey is a sport about respect and sportsmanship. Just look at the end of any playoff series, the two teams shake hands and congratulate one another. A feat I see no where else in sports.

He hits, scores goals, and is a huge play-maker. He makes everyone around him better.
Yes, Sid the Kid scores, but he is not an enforcer. He scares no one. I am only 140 pounds and I would go into the corner any day against him.
The Crosby-Ovechkin rivalry has been one of the single greatest things to watch during the NHL this year, and will hopefully attract more people to the game.
As for Crosby. His lack of respect for the game and continuous crying to the refs will never sit well with me, even if he did lead my team to a Stanley Cup.
