South Africa vs. India, 3rd ODI Scorecard: Report and More from Johannesburg
Quinton de Kock claimed a piece of history, but the rain had the final say on the series between South Africa and India, with the match abandoned.
South Africa take the series 2-0, but having batted to a score of 301 for six wickets in their 50 overs, they would have been well-positioned to pull off a clean sweep of victories.

Still not yet 21 years old, de Kock was at the heart of the innings, posting his third consecutive century in the series. Just five batsmen have achieved the feat in the history of ODIs—and only de Kock has managed all those runs in the same series, making history with his third straight ton.
One of the others to achieve the landmark, AB de Villiers, was de Kock's batting partner for much of the innings and went on to make an enterprising century of his own.
Where de Kock's innings was powerful and controlled, de Villiers was inventive and destructive. The pair looked capable of combining to devastating effect for years to come.
The Proteas' score was also bulked up by a swift 34-ball unbeaten 56 from David Miller—though, in truth, the rest of the team contributed very little, with Hashim Amla the next highest run-scorer with just 13.
Ishant Sharma was accurate and quick, taking four wickets for 40 runs, while Mohamed Shami also picked up three wickets.

Whether India's batsmen could meet the challenge of South Africa's seamers on their home soil remained to be seen—but in the interval the heavens opened and the rain never eased sufficiently to allow the play to resume.
India now have a warm-up match before the Test series begins next week.
