2013 Fantasy Football: NFL Week 15 Sleepers

Ryan LesterDec 12, 2013

Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here is a list of Lester’s Legends under-the-radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you this week.

Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons

Matt Ryan is averaging 282.8 yards and 1.6 touchdowns. He’s playing the terrible Washington Redskins at home where he is averaging 308.5 yards with 10 touchdowns and one interception, compared to 260.9 yards with 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions on the road. The Skins have allowed 256.7 yards and 1.9 touchdowns per game.

Toby Gerhart, RB, Minnesota Vikings

Toby Gerhart ran for 89 yards and a touchdown after replacing Adrian Peterson (foot). Obviously monitor All Day’s availability. If he can’t go, Gerhart makes for a nice play against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have allowed 112.8 yard and 0.6 touchdowns per game.

Julian Edelman, WR, New England Patriots

Julian Edelman is averaging 91.7 yards and a touchdown in his past three games. He should see plenty of looks from Tom Brady against the Miami Dolphins with Rob Gronkowski (knee) out.

Dennis Pitta, TE, Baltimore Ravens

Dennis Pitta saw 11 targets last week, catching six for 48 yards and a score. Keep in mind that the Baltimore Ravens were playing the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have really struggled against tight ends.

That said, Pitta should see plenty of looks against the Detroit Lions considering the minimal number of weapons at Joe Flacco’s disposal. The Lions have allowed 255.8 passing yards and 1.7 touchdowns per game.

Matt Bryant, K, Atlanta Falcons

Matt Bryant has 88 points on 19 field goals and 31 extra points. He should get plenty of scoring chances against the fading Washington Redskins. The Skins have allowed 16 field goals and 51 extra points.

Philadelphia Eagles Defense

The Philadelphia Eagles have allowed a ton of yards this year but rank 13th in scoring defense with 23.2 points per game allowed. The Eagles have 29 sacks and 25 takeaways. Philadelphia faces the wounded Minnesota Vikings. The Vikes will likely be without Adrian Peterson. Minnesota has allowed 34 sacks and has 25 turnovers.
