Real Madrid sealed their fifth win in six Champions League fixtures this season with a comfortable 2-0 win against FC Copenhagen on Tuesday.
Goals either side of half-time from Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo were enough to seal victory for Carlo Ancelotti's men.
Modric opened the scoring in spectacular fashion on 25 minutes, turning his marker on the edge of the area before curling a delightful right-footed shot into the roof of the net.
And not long after the restart, Ronaldo sealed the points with a tap in after good work from Marcelo and Pepe.
The result sends FC Copenhagen crashing out of Europe all together this term, while Real march on to the knock-out stages in ominous form.
FC Copenhagen: Wiland, Jacobsen, Bengtsson, Melberg, R. Sigurdsson, Claudemir, Delaney, Gislason, Vetokele, N. Jorgensen (Bolaños (Remmer)), Toutouh (Pourie)
Real Madrid: Casillas, Pepe, Marcelo, Alonso (Illarramendi), Arbeloa, Nacho, Modric (Casemiro), Isco (Di Maria), Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale
