Questions For Defensive Star DeMarcus Ware Of The Dallas Cowboys

1.     How disappointed were you not winning the defensive MVP of the league last year?

2.     The knock on Dallas pertaining to all of the recent end-of-year collapses has been the lack of leadership in the locker room…how do you react to that?

3.     With the departure of Greg Ellis (and to some degree special-teamer Keith Davis), combined with your stardom, does this make you the obvious choice to be the vocal leader in the locker room? Entire team or just the defensive side of the ball? Why?

4.     Do you believe Anthony Spencer is ready to be a starter opposite of you and contribute on a consistent basis?

5.     Have you seen enough of the two rookie draft choices (Victor Butler and Brandon Williams) to see if they can contribute right away? Will (he) push Spencer for the starting job?

6.     Coming out of Troy State in 2005, did you know you could compete on the highest level being from a small college? If yes, tell me how; if no, tell me why.

7.     It’s always been understood that Bill Parcels wanted to draft Marcus Spears (who the Cowboys drafted later with the 20^th pick) with the 11^th overall pick. Can you set the record straight? Were you always their #1 choice?

8.     I know you have enough to worry about on the defensive side of the ball, but how do you feel the offense will do without Terrell Owens?
