Battle Of NFL Divisions: AFC East Vs. AFC West

My quest to find the best division in the NFL continues. This is part four of my seven part, bracket-style series.  I unexpectedly took a two week break from this series because my son was born early.

Today's article features the AFC East, against the AFC West.  While this appears to be quite a mismatch, I will leave it my readers to determine which division moves on to face the AFC North in the conference finals.

The AFC East had three teams with a better record than AFC West champion San Diego.  The East went an amazing 12-4 against the West in 2008.
