Manchester United are in desperate need of midfield talent, and Borussia Dortmund cannot rule out the departure of talisman Ilkay Gundogan.
The Daily Star reports that, although Dortmund's CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke does not want any player other than Robert Lewandowski to leave, he cannot rule out Gundogan's departure.
The German central midfielder has been crucial to Dortmund's success in recent years, as he possesses both defensive awareness, attacking nous and the ability to distribute the ball from his position in the middle of the pitch.

He would be the perfect signing for David Moyes' side, but it is hard to imagine Dortmund letting him go during the middle of the season. If a deal actually goes through, United will almost certainly have to wait until next summer.
