Transfer Rumour Rater: PSG Set Sights on Chelsea's Juan Mata
According to reports in France, Paris Saint-Germain will make a move for out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata in January.
The Spanish midfielder has fallen out of favour with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho in recent months and has grown to expect a place on the Chelsea bench, rather than a regular starting berth which he was used to in the last campaign.
The 25-year-old has been the subject of Mourinho's criticism in recent months—the Portuguese suggesting that Mata was not pulling his weight in the side and therefore did not warrant a place in the starting XI.

Naturally, rumours surrounded the Spaniard, linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge. And it now appears that French champions PSG are interested in securing his services.
According to French sports website Sport24 (in French), Laurent Blanc has Mata high on his list of targets for January.
Sport24 reports:
"PSG had a stab at the last moment during the summer. Since then, the situation of the Spanish international has not changed.
Jose Mourinho does not count on him and it is highly probably that he (Mata) will look for a move in view of participation in the World Cup with Spain.
