Twinkletoes Is Back In The UFC

If anyone had asked me when Frank Triggwould be back with the UFC I probably would have been thinking "maybe the 12th of Never," but would have said, "Probably not until Matt Hughes retires and Georges St. Pierre moves to a different weight class."

As my critics would quickly point out, "Grandma you got it all wrong!"

Well, yes I did.

Frank "Twinkletoes" Trigg is coming back to the UFC for four more fights.

My most intriguing question now is whether he will be meeting Matt Hughes again.

The first rumor I heard was that with Frank back, if he and Matt Hughes were to meet again and Hughes beat him again, possibly then Matt could get another chance at Georges St. Pierre. 

Well, no, I don't think so.

I firmly believe that Triggand Hughes both would have to beat guys like Swick, Fitch, Koscheck and maybe even Alvesto get a fight with Georges.

Of course Alves has the next shot and it is always possible that he might beat Georges, so who knows.

The most exciting feature of MMA is that the fights are anything but predictable and the championships do frequently change hands.

Everyone can guess / predict who will win in a match up, but no one really knows.

Frank has a record of 19-6 and has won his last four matches which have occurred outside the UFC.

Trigg is an expert commentator and certainly does know the fight game.

Whether he will carry this knowledge over to the UFC and make a big splash is yet to be seen.

Thanks to Facebook, I do know that Frank is busy working out and working on his Triggonomics videos.

So he is fit and has a great work ethic.

It will be very interesting to see who his first opponent will be in a very tough weight division with a lot of fast rising talent.
