Transfer Rumour Rater: Javier Pastore to Liverpool in the January Window

Reports have suggested that Liverpool are in the hunt to sign Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore this summer as Brendan Rodgers looks to improve his creative options.

However, the Northern Irishman faces stern competition from the likes of Roma and Lyon, both of whom are also interested in cutting a deal to sign Laurent Blanc's attacking midfielder.

TalkSPORT say that the Reds, who were linked with numerous players in Pastore's position over the summer months, are preparing to increase their interest in the Argentina international, adding:
