TNA iMPACT Slamback: Extreme Repercussions
Tonight’s iMPACT starts off with highlights from this past Sunday’s Sacrifice. The show goes live with the arrival of Amazing Red.
X Division Championship: Amazing Red vs. Suicide
The two men exchange near falls as the match kicks off. Suicide gets the upper hand for a brief moment, but he and Red seem to know a lot about each other. As Suicide continues control, the Main Event Mafia make their arrival to the iMPACT Zone.
Back in the Zone, Suicide still has the advantage after delivering a modified neck breaker. Red tries to get control, but Suicide recovers and delivers a diving dropkick. Following a leg drop across the neck, Suicide gets caught with a tornado DDT by Amazing Red.
Suicide recovers and counters into a Modified Reverse Neckbreaker. Suicide recovers and hits the Suicide Solution to get the win and retain the X Division Championship.
In the back, the Mafia is heading to the ring with their new Godfather: Sting!
As iMPACT returns, the MEM is led to the ring by their new leader, Sting. After this Sunday’s Sacrifice, Sting pinned Kurt Angle to earn the right to become the new Godfather of the Main Event Mafia.
Sting makes it clear that someone has forgotten the reason that this group was started in the first place. Sting then questions if anyone has let obstacles get in his way.
He goes through the lineup, starting with Booker and Kevin Nash. He then announces that starting tonight, the women are officially banned from the Mafia.
He then focuses on Kurt Angle’s security team. He then makes his second announcement: Sallie Boy and Rocko are fired from the Mafia.
Sting then gives someone a chance for someone to speak now if they have a problem with the results of what’s happening.
With that, Samoa Joe enters the Zone and directs his attention to the New Godfather.
Joe comes out and puts all of them on notice that he has been chosen to systematically take them out one by one until Kurt Angle is left. He then informs Kurt that he has been ordered to “kill” him.

Williams uses the ladder to body slam Deaner across from it, but Deaner moves quick enough to allow himself not to get dropped with the knee.
Williams recovers from the leg injury to deliver a cross body, but Deaner hits a back drop to Williams on the ladder. Deaner sends him to the outside to his awaiting partners, who have held the ladder ransom.
Thanks to his fellow Brits, Williams launches Deaner to the outside and retrieves the case to continue their Invasion and continue to hold the case ransom.
After the bell, The Un-Americans make their way down to congratulate the Invasion on a “hard fought” victory.

Back on the program, Dr. Stevie calls out his patient, and with that, Abyss makes his way down to the ring to confront his therapist. Stevie starts off by saying that they both have an addiction to pain and blood.
However, he tells Abyss that he is nothing more than a menace to society. He then informs him that they have to start the whole therapy process all over again.
He then tells Abyss to put the strait jacket back on. After Abyss puts the jacket on, Stevie grabs a cane and prepares to swing when Lauren comes down.
As he prepares to swing at Lauren, Raven makes his TNA return to confront Dr. Stevie. He then grabs the kendo stick from Stevie and wails on The Monster.

He then informs the fans in the iMPACT Zone that he needs to remain the World Champion for as long as possible for the good of the company and the business.
So to ensure that he remains the champion for a long time, he decides not to defend the gold very often. As a compromise, he will defend the gold at Slammiversary, but after that, he will defend it once a year.

After a two count, the two slug it out with Young getting the advantage with a sit-down Powerbomb. Young misses the moonsault, and Jarrett capitalizes with The Stroke. But Young manages to get his leg on the rope.
Young goes for the Wheelbarrow Bomb, but Jarrett counters it into a roll-up to get the win and advance to the King of the Mountain Ladder Match at Slammiversary in Detroit.
After a show of respect by Jarrett, Young extends his hand and congratulates Jarrett on the match. After being called back into the ring, Jarrett embraces his friend. But Young snaps and chop-blocks him in the injured hamstring.
