C.J. Spiller: Week 13 Fantasy Outlook

RotoWireContributor November 27, 2013

Few players needed a bye week to rest and heal more than Spiller, who punctuated a disappointing pre-bye campaign with a 13-carry, six-yard performance against the Jets in Week 11. Spiller's talent is undeniable, and if the bye gave his ankle enough time to heal up, he could be a very rewarding fantasy play down the stretch against a series of unimpressive run defenses.
If your trade deadline hasn't come and gone already, it's an intriguing time to buy on Spiller before he sees post-bye action. His value's as low as it's ever been right now. While his productivity -- even when healthy -- will be hamstrung to a degree by the presence of Fred Jackson, the two of them have shown they can be productive in combination before.
