NFL Odds Week 13: Breaking Down Most Intriguing Point Spreads
By Week 13, it is hard for any NFL team to sneak up on people. As a result, most point spreads are fairly accurate. Fortunately, there are still a few questionable lines for bettors to take advantage of.
The smart gamblers do not bet too many games, but instead find the matchups that could be considered "locks." This means that while people get excited for Thanksgiving Day games, you should avoid a battle between inconsistent teams like the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
Instead, look at these matchups, which feature an opportunity to take advantage of interesting lines, provided by Vegas Insider.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
New England Patriots (-7.5) at Houston Texans
It is hard to deny that the Texans have given up on the season. They have lost nine in a row, most recently at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars by seven points.
This spread basically states that the Patriots are about as good as the Jaguars. We all know this is not true.
New England showed with last week's win over the Denver Broncos that it is among the best teams in the NFL. Tom Brady got off to a slow start to the year, but he is now dominating with a healthy receiving corps and Rob Gronkowski making plays in the middle of the field.
After the Texans only scored six points against Jacksonville, it is hard to imagine them doing much against the improved Patriots defense.
The only thing that would make this close is if New England completely overlooked its opponent. However, Bill Belichick will not let that happen, and this game should be a blowout.
Denver Broncos (-4.5) at Kansas City Chiefs
A lot of this is based on the injuries sustained by Chiefs defensive ends Justin Houston and Tamba Hali. Josh Katzowitz of CBS Sports reports that the status for both players is unknown for Sunday. However, they will both likely be limited if they play at all.
This takes away 20 sacks and a major reason the Kansas City defense has been so successful this season. Without them, Peyton Manning will have all day to throw the ball, and he will turn that into a big day.
After Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers torched this unit for 41 points on Sunday, it is clear that Manning is capable of having a huge day.
As long as the Denver defense can put pressure on Alex Smith, the squad should be able to beat the Chiefs for the second time in three weeks.
Buffalo Bills (-3.5) vs. Atlanta Falcons
Despite a 4-7 record, the Bills are still very much in the playoff picture, sitting just one game out of a wild-card spot. With EJ Manuel coming off the best game of his professional career, it is certainly possible to expect more good things from this club.
Additionally, the Week 12 bye gave the team a chance to get healthy and better prepare for the home stretch.
On the other hand, the Falcons are fading fast and seem to be doing their best to prove they are the worst team in the NFL. Only three teams have allowed more points than Atlanta this season, while the minus-12 turnover ratio is the worst in the NFC.
Of course, these numbers are even worse when you look at how the squad has fared on the road. Not only are the Falcons 0-5, but they have been outscored by 61 points in those games.
While the Bills might be a tough team to trust, you can count on almost anyone being better than Atlanta this week.
