Week 13 Fantasy Football Rankings: Top Players at Offensive Positions

Week 13 features some tough matchups for a number of offensive fantasy players, which means that this week's rankings look quite a bit different than they normally do.

There are some big games this week, including a matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks to prove which team is the best in the NFC.  Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs get a rematch against the Denver Broncos to try to stay alive in the AFC West race.

Below is a look at the top 10 quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends in fantasy football this week, followed by a look at the most intriguing player at each position.

Player to Watch: Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions

It certainly wasn't the prettiest game for Matthew Stafford this past week, but now he will be looking to turn things around on Thanksgiving against the Green Bay Packers.

Four interceptions against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers kept Stafford from putting up major numbers, but he still came away with 15 fantasy points.  This week, he'll be going against the Packers, a team he played in Week 5 and scored just 14 points against.

However, Stafford will have Calvin Johnson for this game, and that will be the big difference.  The Packers are struggling to defend the pass lately, holding just one quarterback, Brandon Weeden, to fewer than 13 fantasy points.

This means that Stafford should have a huge game this week and help get the Detroit Lions back on track after two straight losses.

Player to Watch: Andre Brown, New York Giants

After missing the first eight games for the New York Giants, Andre Brown has become the team's go-to running back, and that's big news for fantasy owners.

In the three games since returning, Brown has scored a total of 40 fantasy points, running for 308 yards and a touchdown.  There's been no concern about a lack of touches, as he's had eight receptions and 69 carries already.

With the matchup this week, Brown has the potential to put up big numbers once again.  The Washington Redskins allow the third-most points to opposing running backs, which comes out to 20.6 fantasy points per game, while also allowing 13 rushing touchdowns to running backs.

It's been a terrific return for Brown so far, and that will continue through this week.

Player to Watch: Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals

Look out, everyone.  Larry Fitzgerald is starting to heat up.

With 113 yards and three touchdowns over the past two games, Fitzgerald is on a roll right now.  He's struggled with consistency throughout the season, but this was the first time in 2013 that the star receiver has put up back-to-back games with at least 10 points.

Although he struggled in 2012, the addition of Carson Palmer has helped out Fitzgerald quite a bit.  So far, the two have connected 50 times for 606 yards and eight touchdowns, and that's very good news.

This week presents a terrific matchup for Fitzgerald, as he'll be going up against the Philadelphia Eagles and their secondary.  The Eagles give up 28.9 fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers, and that's the most of any team in the NFL.

Can Fitzgerald have three straight double-digit performances?  With a game this week against the Eagles, it's certainly a possibility.

Player to Watch: Coby Fleener, Indianapolis Colts

Even though the Indianapolis Colts have been struggling without Reggie Wayne, that hasn't kept Coby Fleener from emerging as a solid fantasy option at tight end.

Over the past two games, Fleener has put up 21 points.  Overall, he's caught 41 passes this year for 494 yards and four touchdowns.

The Colts will be playing the Tennessee Titans again this week, and in their last meeting, Fleener caught eight passes for 107 yards.  With the lack of options for Andrew Luck, I expect him to look for Fleener early and often throughout this game.
