Twinkle-Toes Returns to Las Vegas
MMA veteran Frank Trigg has signed a new four-fight contract with the UFC and is hoping to make his return debut in the Octagon sometime this fall or winter.
Trigg, who holds a current record of 19-6, first fought in the UFC back in 2003 at UFC 45 Trigg made his UFC debut against Matt Hughes and lost by a now famous rear-naked choke in the first round. Trigg followed the loss up with wins over Dennis Hallman and “Charuto” Verissiomo only to suffer the same fate at the hands of Matt Hughes at UFC 52
Trigg’s last fight in the UFC was against Georges St. Pierre at UFC 54 where he once again lost by his trademark rear-naked choke.
Since leaving the UFC in 2005, Trigg has spent most of his time competing at middleweight and compiled a record of 7-2, including wins in his last four fights. However, Trigg will once against compete at welterweight in the UFC instead of middleweight.
