Updates from Tuesday, April 29

K.C. Jones of the Chicago Tribune reports that Derrick Rose is progressing well as he continues to rehab his knee:

Derrick Rose took contact on his surgically repaired right knee for the first time Monday, the Bulls said, playing one-on-one against Mike James.

Rose has suffered no setbacks during his rehabilitation from having his meniscus repaired in late November and remains on track to participate in Team USA's minicamp in Las Vegas in late July for the FIBA World Cup team.

Rose remains out for the postseason. The Bulls expect him to return at full strength next season.
