Nick AkermanNov 17, 2013

North American PlayStation 4 users may be getting used to next-gen FIFA 14 already, but for the rest of the world, EA Canada's upcoming game is set to launch on November 22.

Xbox One users will be the first to get it outside America, amplified by the fact the console's Day One Edition comes bundled with the game.

EA is on the promotion trail once again, as the latest release will have Lionel Messi fans going into overdrive. Without spoiling the fun, be sure to take a peek below for a rather cool way of running through the next-gen title's new features.

As we gear up for a full worldwide launch, let's take a look at the latest video and final details before release.

FIFA 14: "It Just Got Real" Advert

Ever wondered what it would be like to live as Lionel Messi? How about transform into the Barcelona star during a virtual match?

While EA Canada can't promise to make this happen in real life (even with Kinect), watching Joe Bloggs mutate into the Argentinian star is a great way of showing off new technology.

Take a look below:

Following on from the advert, EA is encouraging users to head on over to a specially designed website to witness the features of next-gen FIFA 14.

Little Leo stars again, but that time, he's ready to stare into your soul. An ultra-realistic avatar version of the four-time Ballon d'Or winner will run you through everything you need to know about the game—just be sure to click around.

Vital Details Before Switching to Next-Gen

Switching over to the next-gen is an expensive commitment. Be sure to trade in your current version of FIFA 14 and receive a decent sum of money back during the upgrade.

Those of you who bought the original title at GAME can get £40 back on your investment, per Tom Phillips of Eurogamer.

It's also worth checking your local outlets or online retailers such as GameStop for ever-changing deals, as you can effectively get the next-gen version for around £10.
