Week 11 Fantasy Football Rankings: Examining Best Plays at Each Skill Position

Fantasy owners figure that they can count on their stud players each and every week, but there are times when difficult matchups cap what they can do. For whatever reason, it seems as though many of the best fantasy players in football are faced with that dilemma in Week 11.

Elite players are capable of producing regardless of who they play against, but they can't be dominant all the time. With that in mind, it's possible that a few different names will appear atop of the fantasy scoring charts this week.

In addition to further analysis of the projected top scorers at each skill position, here is a closer look at the most likely fantasy studs in Week 11.

Quarterback

Russell Wilson (SEA)

The Seahawks' offense went through a bit of a lull this season that had people questioning whether or not quarterback Russell Wilson was experiencing a sophomore slump, but the dynamic signal-caller has stepped up in a big way over the past few weeks. Wilson doesn't necessarily need any more help than he already has, but wide receiver Percy Harvin is in line to suit up for the first time this season, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Also, Seattle has a dream matchup against a Minnesota Vikings secondary that has struggled mightily against the pass this season. The Vikes have allowed a league-high 21 passing touchdowns, and with Wilson scoring for multiple scores in four straight, all signs point to a monster offensive output.

LeSean McCoy (PHI)

Prior to last week's game against the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy failed to break 55 rushing yards in three straight contests. He busted out of his slump in a big way with 155 yards on the ground in Week 10, and he once again appears to be the focal point of Philly's offense. Even with his recent slump included, McCoy still leads the league in rushing, according to NFL on ESPN.

Not only does McCoy now have momentum, but he also has a soft matchup ahead of him in Week 11. The Eagles will face the Washington Redskins in a huge NFC East battle, and McCoy is likely Philly's biggest key to victory. He gashed the 'Skins for 184 rushing yards in Week 1, and while it will be tough to reach that level again on Sunday, he shouldn't be too far off.

Wide Receiver

Antonio Brown (PIT)

He doesn't receive the respect that superstar receivers such as Calvin Johnson and A.J. Green do, but it's time for people to take notice when it comes to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown. He leads the NFL in receptions with 67 and he is tied for fifth in yardage with 805 yards as well. The fact that he has only three touchdowns hurts his value a bit, but he makes the most of his targets, according to Gil Brandt of NFL.com.

The Steelers don't have the league's most explosive offense, but they should be able to put up some points this weekend. They're facing the Detroit Lions, who are among the worst in the league when it comes to defending the pass. Detroit allows over 275 passing yards per game, which bodes well for Brown, who has at least 71 receiving yards in all but two games this season.

Tight End

Jimmy Graham (NO)

New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has been banged up lately, and the return of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has threatened his reign atop the position, but his role in the Saints' offense makes him the No. 1 guy each and every week no matter what. Not only does Graham lead tight ends in touchdown catches, but he leads the entire league, according to NFL on ESPN.

There is no question that Graham has his work cut out for him this week when New Orleans faces the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners have given up just 10 touchdown passes this season, and that means Graham could be in for a tough outing. The Saints have managed to move the ball on everyone, though, and if they are going to put up some points, then Graham will almost certainly play a big role.
