Slamming Samaras: Rangers' Nacho Novo Slurs the Celtic Striker in Song (video)

Just in case it was missed the first time round, Rangers’ striker has mocked Celtic striker Georgios Samaras on Rangers TV too.

Riding a wave of euphoria on Sunday after scooping the SPL championship, pint-sized Spanish striker Nacho Novo proved that he had the memory of an elephant by making sure to recall Samaras’ comments just as the cameras were focused on the number 10. Alone and proud, Novo turned to the rolling cameras to start singing “ooo-aah Samaras, said ooo-aah Samaras,” much to his own enjoyment. (The incident can be seen here.)

But that was only the beginning of the war of words.

Yesterday the Rangers TV camera crew got a one-on-one with the striker, questioning Novo about the episode. And, with a smile as big as his face, Novo could not hold back his emotions as he again broke out into a rendition of “Ha-Ha! Samaras!” complete with comedy hand movements, commenting “I love that!” as he continued to make fun of the Greek forward.
