New Orleans Saints Under-Rated Players
Under-rated Saints
Ever since Jeremy Shockey has come to the Saints, Billy Miller has been completely ignored. He is older but made some incredible catches last year and Jeremy didn't get much done at all.
Miller is very under-rated and a great pass-catching TE. He made more acrobatic catches than most of the WRs last season. In “fantasy land” I'm definitely taking Miller over Shockey.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Pierre Thomas- There was all this talk about drafting a power RB in the first round, or signing someone like LJ. In every article I read it talks about drafting a guy like Wells to compliment Bush! In my opinion, Bush compliments Thomas. I feel Thomas is a complete back that can do it all. He can catch, break tackles, make plays and hold on to the ball (Unlike Reggie). Does anyone remember Thomas's first run in an NFL game? It was a 22yd scamper for a touchdown! Get another big back to get that extra yard on 3rd down but an expensive back like Wells or LJ seems unnecessary.
I really like Usama Young. He seems to be the perfect fit for a FS. He is fast, aggressive, and can make a tackle. His man-coverage skills are good but not great and he has really good zone cover skills. FS is a lot of zone coverage. This past year Colston expressed that during practice Young was the hardest DB to make a play on. With Sharper signed and playing FS, Young will be able to learn from the best. Results may not come in the 09 Season, but I look forward to seeing this guy get some decent playing time.
Nicks and Evan- I believe this is the year that these two guys really emerge as two of the leagues top Guards. Both are young, strong and BIG. They both are elite pass-blockers. Both are very good and can still get much better. They are the two guards that make up one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. Watch for these guys to really make names for themselves in 2009.
Lastly is ST beast Dunbar. This guy made some huge hits! Remember that block in the MIN game? That blocked excited me more than the PR for a touchdown. He has such an aggressive approach to every play he is involved. I think if he can be taught some blitzing techniques he could really help out our pass rush. Just make him a situational blitz-er and I bet he will make some highlight reels and punish some unlucky QBs. How can you not love the guy.
