Xavier Henry Puts Ex-Kansas Teammate Jeff Withey on Poster with Monster Dunk

Lakers guard Xavier Henry etched his name into the consciousness of Los Angeles fans with a vicious opening-night dunk against the crosstown Clippers.

But Henry has struggled over the past few games, and perhaps he was worried about losing his place in the hearts of Lakers Nation. So he went and did this against New Orleans Pelicans center Jeff Withey.

One thing's for sure: His teammates seemed to enjoy it.

There's a little bit of familiarity going on in this posterizing jam. Henry played for the Pelicans last year, so he got a chance to stick it to his old team. And he and Withey were teammates in college at the University of Kansas, so this officially qualifies as "Jayhawk-on-Jayhawk violence."

After the game, Henry made it clear that he knew exactly what he was doing to his old classmate:

He spent a good deal of time elaborating on the dunk to the press in this postgame interview.

Now feel free to watch this over and over...and over and over and over. It's that good.
